In Q4 of 2020, the Android market saw varying performance among the top insurance applications in the United States. With data provided by Sensor Tower, we observed the user engagement and download trends for these apps.

Progressive maintained a consistent download rate in Q4, starting at roughly 40K in the last week of September and peaking at nearly 38K by the year's end. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 502K to 483K during the quarter.

GEICO Mobile - Car Insurance experienced a similar pattern, with downloads beginning at 41K and ending the quarter with about 37K, indicating a steady interest from users. Active users saw a decrease from 519K to 483K over the same period.

Drive Safe & Save™ by State Farm Insurance witnessed a download dip from 31K to 21K, while its active users varied, reaching a high of 816K in mid-December before settling to around 791K at the quarter's close.

Allstate Mobile showed a modest download range between 18K and 23K throughout the quarter. The weekly active users for Allstate fluctuated slightly, peaking at 435K in early November and ending the quarter with around 416K active users.

Lastly, State Farm® saw its downloads hover around the 20K mark, with a slight increase to approximately 23K in the final week of December. Active users exhibited a downward trend from 185K to 184K.
