Brazil's Top Auto Apps on Android in Q4 2020: A Sensor Tower Report

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Brazil's auto application landscape on Android saw varied trends in user engagement and downloads. Here we break down the performance of the top five auto applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Drivvo - car management ended the year on a high note with a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $340 in the last week of December. Downloads also showed an upward trend, rising from 2.5K at the start of the quarter to nearly 2.8K. Weekly active users grew consistently, reaching over 17K by the end of December.

Car Scanner ELM OBD2 experienced fluctuations in revenue throughout the quarter, with a notable spike to $141 in the week before Christmas. Downloads remained fairly steady, with a slight increase to just over 2.3K in the final week. Active users saw a gradual increase, ending the quarter with around 4.6K weekly active users.

For Carista OBD2, revenue saw a significant jump in late October to $156, but otherwise maintained moderate numbers. Downloads showed a varied pattern, with a high of 308 in the last week. Active users displayed growth, rising to 192 by the year's end.

AGAMA Car Launcher had a steady revenue stream, with a peak at $60 in late November. Downloads saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 2K in the week leading up to Christmas. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of almost 4.9K in the third week of December.

Lastly, BimmerCode for BMW and MINI showed consistent revenue throughout the quarter, although there was no data available for downloads and active users.
